Antique Wood Cook stove
An old wood Cook Stove is just fun to have. They may be old, but even if they have some wear, they can be fixed and used today. The stove I had needed a few replacement parts and I found them right on eBay. I hired a gentleman to come and put them in and the total cost was only $150. That old wood cook stove heated a great portion of the house and I was able to use it for baking bread and cooking some really terrific food.
It eventually turned into a glorified cookbook rack, but in the winter months it was terrific to fire it up and take in the aroma of a pot of home made soup simmering on the back of the stove. Yummy crusty bread fresh out of the oven. Best part? No natural gas bill!
